Boom. Game over

How this was made

I built this Minesweeper remake from scratch in plain JavaScript, HTML and CSS. There's no game engine, no framework and no libraries, just a grid in memory and a small renderer.

It plays like the original Windows game. Your first click is always safe, empty areas flood open, right-click cycles flag and question mark, and pressing both mouse buttons (or the middle one) on a number "chords" its neighbours. The timer, the mine counter and the custom board limits all match the classic too.

The rest of this portfolio is built the same way: vanilla JavaScript, HTML and CSS with no build step, plus GSAP for the motion. I use AI as an assistant to speed up tasks and my workflow, but the ideas, the design and the build are mine.
